How the ICC is treating associate nations is nothing short of a joke.
Not a surprise when overpaid hacks like Jonathan Millmow express this kind of opinion:

"JM: It's a shame to wait a month to find the eight teams blind Freddie could pick now. Mind you, you can't see any other solution while the ICC runs with four minnows."

He really is an abysmal sports writer.

I feel it's a travesty they aren't bringing cricket to the olympics. They've been encouraged by the IOC to apply for inclusion but they don't want to. They too busy looking at the short term and filling their pockets. They need to be trying to expand the game. It's slowly dieing as an international game and they are all too self interested. There will be no real international game left the way they are going.

The exposure they get from olympics could save the game as an international game. IPL like franchises will probably survive but international cricket is slowly dieing out amongst all but 4 or 5 nations.
