who are favourites to win this year, stout yeoman Starfighter? Are the gentlemen of Gloucestershire still in favour with the gods?

Gloucs and Northants for promotion, to fight it out with Somerset for the title in 2020 imo.

Notts' season to be 4-day Champions again. Bought well in the batting department. Should get the services of Broad for a lot of the season to go with a decent batch of seamers.

isn't is because he doesn't play t20 (maybe first class only) and 2/3rds of the summer is the shorter game

Or it could be because he averaged less than 20 in the Championship.

I love the idea that a few 17 year olds rock up to a county out-ground, take three early, and have a man old enough to be their granddad (or thereabouts) walk out to the crease and make a big, unbeaten ton. And not even a quick one -- at a strike rate of 43 because County Seconds is srs business.

I think Yorkshire will get relegated.
Certainly wouldn't be surprised if this happens.

Poysden, Pillans and Fraine don't exactly look the strongest of transfers. They tried to bring in Olivier on kolpak but that doesn't seem to be going through. Jack Brooks gone
No second opener currently.

Need some of their youngsters to really break through. Harry Brook could be a star. Him and Zac Crawley(kent) doing well in sydney grade cricket right. Maybe two options for the top order for England in the long term.

Not to mention the usual Yorky politics in the Headingley members'. The fanbase hate Gale and Moxon.

I think Jason Holder is joining Northants for a short stint also.
