Cheers Magrat Garlick and Andrew B, will give it another 48 hours give or take and start then or when we have a couple more competitiors whichever comes first. Below is Nathan Astle's position moved to middle order.

As said before each round will be bidding for an opener, middle order bat, keeper, all rounder, pacer and spinner with them being drafted in the order they come in below.

So Round 1 players are Hayden, Tendulkar, Imran Khan, Sangakkara, M Marshall, Warne
Round 2 players are Boycott, Barrington, Hadlee, Dhoni, Steyn, Muralitharan and so on through the rounds.
A $100m budget and you can bid for all players in each round, no players in that round or anything in between - highest bid wins.
If highest bids are tied, player who has gone longest since getting their last player wins (if that is equal then winner of a tie will be chosen at random)

No rush to send in opening bids as waiting for a couple more players but when you are ready to feel free to email bids to cricketdraftcw@gmail.com

Minus inclusion of Nathan Astle as middle order instead of as an opener the player order remains unchanged

Will give it a bit longer with the server update - how do we know when these happen (for future reference)? Saw your mention of it Magrat but thought it must have been between your post and my last one.

Approx start time - 9pm Monday (Tomorrow) UK time - will allow new entrants before the end of the first round and if there are new entrants allow people the chance to adjust their bids if they so choose given bids may be different if planning for an auction with 6 rather than 8 players.

Reminder Round 1 players are: Round 1 players are Hayden, Tendulkar, Imran Khan, Sangakkara, M Marshall, Warne

Thanks for swift responses, can confirm I've received emails from all current competitors (listed below). Will wait a few more hours (about 4) before announcing results (if no one else joins) - if they do will give additional time for anyone wanting to change bids

Does 9pm UK time (just over 3 hours) deadline for new entrants and midnight UK time end of Tuesday/start of Wednesday for any amended bids work for the rest of you? Let me know if you are not planning on amending bids or if you are but need a few more hours past midnight (end of Tuesday/start of Wednesday UK time) - if no one is looking to amend bids (with extra player/s) will post round 1 results once I get Weldone's and any other new entrants bids in and its been established no one is amending bids.

When do you post the results?
Sorry Trundler was writing last message having not seen this message but hope previous response answers that for Round 1 - want to be fair to existing entrants as dynamics of a draft/auction change with player numbers hence allowing extra time to alter bids with new players (if anyone so chooses). So at latest midnight end of Tuesday, 30 hours unless anyone specifically requests more time, if everyone is happy with their initial bids then once I get Weldone's and any other competitiors pre-9pm (today UK time) deadline for new entrys.

After Round 1 will be once I get bids from all competitors for each round after.

Everyone has had plenty of time to amend bids now -- I don't think we should prolong this round any further.

Point taken unless there are any dissentors I will do it this afternoon UK time - it has been 7 hours since Weldone said he'd join so unfair if someone wants to amend knowing there has been an extra player and has been sleeping but appreciate desire to get the ball rolling and not stall things too long unnecessarily. That should give people long enough taking into account sleeping/time zones to highlight want for more time/place new bids.

Unrelated and just out of interest but were you on the Cricket Coach Game Forums a years back sign off name in email rang a bell
