sure but journalists and magazine writers have always been like that. Orwell thought every word he wrote was saving the world
The difference is these tedious open letters would be pretty much ignored outside their literary bubble, now this will be forced into mainstream media, and no doubt political discourse. The same people crowing about this being an attack on the left, will have been advocating the boycott of nike, and vice versa.

So, in conclusion, All discussion is ****ed in a partisanship circular hell, but I guess we knew that anyway. In fact it would be a better name for this thread.
