Obviously not too big a secret now. Particularly now one of them is Prime Minister of England.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
During the cold war, Soviet operatives infiltrated high levels of govt the world over. Not sure the collapse of the USSR was enough to stop the secret services having their own means and purposes and internal ideology. If anything, it's helped them more.

They can do it ultra cheap too. Apparently they only spent a few million to run a misinformation campaign during the 2016 election.
