I made one of those jokes after one of the first rainy games in Cardiff I believe, hope you realised I was just continuing what I think has become a CW meme rather than attacking you personally, as I know full well June is not usually a rainy season in England (or Wales ). Apologies if you thought I was having a crack at you at all.

Also a non-zero chance Mister is just making things up there I guess but either way. I'm happy you've called him out on his weatherposting. Memes are one thing but his posts have just cross across as semi-trolling and over-reacting since like the third one, and we're up to #59345475495.

I think what plays into it is that they don't get called a **** by the majority of people they interact with because those people are polite/civil/just avoid them completely, and so when a few posters do attack them they just interpret that as people ganging up on them and group them all together as one entity and start to play the victim angle.

Its a strange and interesting phenomenon. I think you're right in that if you've got that inability to see why you're annoying, thats probably the same thing that feeds this mindset. Probably something to do with the ego, or maybe people like this are just genuinely clueless.
