Spot on so far . Can't see a 2-1 though since I can't see a draw. Settle for a 3-2 for Aus

Very happy to be proved wrong in predicting little other than doom for England. I still believe the team is as full of holes as it was before the series started. Maybe the Australian win or bust method of reckless impatience with bat and ball should have been predictable, though their inability or unwillingness to adapt their approach is a little surprising - especially twice in three matches.

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Score: England 5-0 Australia - 4-1 pretty much guaranteed so not bad
Runs: Roooooot - well on course
Wickets: Anderson - would have happened for sure but for injury
Surprise package: Bairstow scores 5 on return to side for 3rd test - nailed it
Biggest failure: Clarke and Johnson - one out of two
Surprise dropping: Ian Bell (Furball to celebrate) - dropped by Clarke on 35 much to Furball's pleasure

Result-Australia 4-0 (the weather to save England the indignation of another 5-0 whitewash)
Leading run scorer: Dave Warner
Leading wicket taker: Johnno (to be the difference between the sides again!)
Surprise package: That it only ends 4-0 and not 5.
Biggest Failure: Choose an Englishman - I'll go with Cookie.
Surprise dropping: Cook to either get dropped or spared when he should have been.
I so wish he wasn't banned right now.

I so wish he wasn't banned right now.
As if he'd have showed his face round here after the first session in Brum

Let's be honest. All teams have their bandwagon fair weather fans and old Hooksey definitely fits the bill

Furball

Evil Scotsman
Right, about time for this one.

Result: Heart says 3-1 England, head says 3-1 Australia. England. Just.

Leading run scorer: Cook, Voges
Leading wicket taker: Anderson, Starc
Surprise package: Brad Haddin will keep competently
Biggest failure: Bell
Surprise dropping: Bell
Series result wasn't far off (in fact reading it back I was obviously calling England by 1 )
Run scorer was just rubbish
Aussie wicket taker spot on, English one would have been if he'd played at Trent Bridge.
Surprise package comment was both a poor joke and wrong
Biggest failure: goes to Lyth but Bell was certainly a disappointment.
Surprise dropping: sadly not.

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
No way would Anderson have taken more than one or two at TB just because of how good Broad was

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Score: England 5-0 Australia
Runs: Roooooot
Wickets: Anderson
Surprise package: James Taylor scores ton on return to side for 3rd test
Biggest failure: Clarke and Johnson
Surprise dropping: Ian Bell (Furball to celebrate)
Score: close enough given London is ****
Runs: yes (actually no but whatever)
Wickets: obvious typo, meant Broad
Surprise package: no
Failure: yes and well I suppose
Dropping: think I already made the joke about him dropping catches so er I got nothing
