Yeah. I never congratulate other sides’ supporters or give the opposition any credit when they win. Why would I start now?

Further proof of the accuracy of my post from the other weekend to the effect that the suburb with the biggest ratio of wankers is Bondi.

It's nice when your team wins but seems a bit weird to be congratulated for it. It's not like I was playing the game or did anything.

I understand why you would think that, but I don't think there's any doubt that if I hadn't been controversially omitted from the WC finals, Australia would have got over the line. Was a complete clanger of a decision, rightly criticised at the time, and now to be forever a synonym for bad officiating/ selecting.

Cheers for the grats. It was a hard slog, but really this was a team effort. Lots of us stayed up through the nights willing Australia to a win and sticking pins into our Anderson Voodoo doll (that worked better than expected). I'm just pissed that I was not mentioned in the post match conference. **** that. It's not all about Steve, you know.

It’s a thing here if you watch or follow a sport with fans of other teams that you give a “well done” as a sporting gesture if their teams prevail. Obviously it’s nothing to do with their personal achievement and you don’t really mean it.
