The betting agency is paying Bendtner's fine ftr.

And the longer it gets played out the more value for money they get.

Oh Paddy Power is doing brilliantly out of it, as they always do for each cheap stunt they pull. Bendtner doesn't need the money though, and he could miss games for Denmark, who I shouldn't think would be overjoyed with the entire thing.
