Yep, rowing.

Ulmer's first round tonight, and Beatrice Faumuina in the discus final after qualifying fifth.

Looking a bit brighter now than it did a few days back...

Sarah Ulmer in the gold medal race at about 2:30 tonight NZT after breaking the world record and almost lapping her opponent in the first round, so a guaranteed medal of some colour, and with world champions Ben Fouhy in kayaking and Bevan Docherty in triathlon still to come its looking pretty good.

Providing she stays on the bike and doesn't crash.

I will probably be up watching the West Brom-Aston Villa match on Fox Sports, so I will change channels for it.

That was a great win by Ulmer, before the Olympics the world record was 3:30.something and she won the final in 3:24, beating her first round WR by another 2 seconds!

That was worth staying up for.

Gold & Silver is amazing, and well done to that Swiss bloke no one had heard of for getting bronze.

How pathetic.
Is that because of Nibbs comments or because Andrew Johns didn't get a medal?

And of course NZ got a second silver, that gives a grand total of...5.

We are now 19th on the medal table, ahead of Canada! Not bad stuff for a country of our size.

*ignoring the fact that M.Phelps alone has more medals than we do*

Is it true that Argentina haven't won a Gold medal for something like 50 years?

Now for a country of 37m people that is pathetic.

No - they haven't won one for a couple of hours.
