ODI Draft - Ascending Batting Average

A test version of this one will be good - don't you guys think? People will not be this much restless to move up the average ladder so quickly because first drafter in round 11 has to be get Bradman.
But more than half the drafters will give up on trying to get Bradman. The alphabetical draft format might work well.

Nonetheless, it's not like this format is not fun. It's about who blinks first.

Bradman would serve as a really cool golden goose/holy grail - and really encourage people to budget accordingly to get that first round 11 pick - though I think plenty of people would happily get Bradman in round 10 and have the thread creator give them a random 'meme' player to fill up the team if that rule was allowed still - i actually don't think this is a harsh enough penalty for not finishing.

you'd have to put in the requirements so Bradman is only available in round 11 pretty much - like maybe you don't get a meme player for not finishing, you just don't get a completed team and cant participate in the voting if you don't finish

atm i'm contemplating how bad it really is to have to cop one of these meme players, say i didnt worry about getting a keeper and accepted it'd be a meme player, who would i get stuck with?Junior Murray, Kamran Akmal or Mohammad Shahzad would that even be so bad?

has to be much worse - someone like Vijay Yadav or Ajay Ratra or Stuart Poynter

I have been campaigning long enough to make the meme players meme enough - otherwise the entire concept falls flat

Test version but with the alphabet draft format.

Yes good idea. Let's do that? Must have a minimum test requirement so people can't cop out with Andy Gantaume as 11th player. They will get a meme player (Rubel Hossain) if they select Bradman as 10th player.
