It's hard to forget his WC '92 final cameo. Probably the difference between winning and losing that match. Inzamam as well.

Was at point in ODIs usually. Remember some handy stuff at silly point too. Great all around really. Smith and Hammond are 2 other gun slippers.
Yeah he was amazing at silly point to Warne. Excelled at every position. Can't remember seeing him at cover much though, and I saw most of his career.

Real dearth of spin bowling all rounders. Shaky Bull and Yuvraj great obviously but they're not bowling all rounders. You'd have to settle for an Afridi or Moeen who can slog and do an ok job with the ball. Or Symcox for full troll rounder potential.

And if you are ok with old timers, there is Faulkner. Between Faulkner, Jadeja and Sobers you have enough spin in your ATG AR XI, I feel.

Hafeez when he was a frontline bowler was pretty good. Was the best AR in the world around 2010. Chucked it though.

Basically the entire first half of his career. There'd be a video or 2 on youtube of Ricky Ponting run outs where you could see it. He moved out of point and went into 2nd slip/short midwicket when he became captain.

I assume he didn't pick Jonty because it's still an ATG team and Jonty would not make anyone's ATG teams
Terry Alderman and Ravi Jadeja tho

33 off 18. That's quite special! Kinda thing you expect from Kapil Dev. And Akram often gave the impression of being at least as capable as Kapil with bat.

Allegedly Akram would promote himself up the order when he was captain so he could throw the match. I imagine that would nerf your stats.

Hooper is a weird one. Pretty valuable to the WIs set up, his offies were nothing special but they were tidy enough to compliment the 4 paceman attack, and he was a far better batsman than his batting avg suggests.
dude played 102 tests. how much time do you need to prove you're better than what your average suggests?

Him and Mark Waugh had the lowest percentage of top scores in an innings for a top 6 batsman. Waugh still managed a low 40s average. There's something wrong if you're throwing away that many starts.

Need some NZers. Vettori, Oram and Cairns were all better test players than Flintoff.
