The Official Movie Discussion Thread

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
Taken from a movie forum.. Hopefully it will work. Please tell us about the movies you saw last week. If you can write at least a few sentences telling us how you felt about each film you watched, it will help the rest of us understand your point of view and the film, and might be enough to generate an interesting discussion. This is a nearly ideal place to talk about film. Please let us know what you thought about what you saw.

Capote. Great charachter piece. Hoffman is amazing and the movie is very original in the sense that it is sort of a biopic, sort of based on book but not really. I loved the book and the movie does a great justice to the background and making of one of Americas greatest works. Loved it.

Of course if I were 17 or 18 I would ask what sort of movies? :naughty:

But I won't, and the answer is none.

Evil Dead. A brilliantly funny and entertaining 80s horror B movie.

Best.
Film.
Ever.
Bought it for £4 in Virgin yesterday. Spent a good £21 on Taxi Driver, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, American Psycho, Apocalypse Now and The Shining.
