Happy to get a good keeper in Oldfield. Aside from when Merv was bowling, he'd probably have to stand up to the stumps most of the time. Picked a few favourite players and some old legends. Would be an interesting team to watch if nothing else. Imagine Barnes and Iverson in tandem on a day 5 wicket. Or any wicket in fact. Thanks Nufan enjoyable draft.

Batting all elegance and style  A spin trio with variations galore. Thommo and Bond to bowl in fiery short bursts with the new balls and between the spinners. And to complement them, the boss himself, Bob Taylor, my favorite keeper.

Led by Lord Binny batting at his deserved position, this team covers the entire cricketing spectrum from complete spuds (the captain,Pommy), to wonderfully nice and decent players (PJ, Cowan, Vijay, Aaqib), an up and coming gun(Jinx), that infuriating one who's either the best ever, or total a dud depending on his mood (Shoaib), complete legends (Steyn, Sachin, Lara).

Thanks for the draft Nufan, it was fun. I didn't really plan too much, just some players I'd love to see. Hope they come out near number 6

Good work on the teams everyone, are we missing anyone? I'm a bit busy over the next few days but in around 66.66 hours I will do a nice (debatable) write up and announce the winner.

Verdict: Brilliant middle order and an excellent, varied attack. I get the feeling that this XI would dominate. As a result I have picked your team as the best, therefore you have not won.
