    Hi mate,

    It's not special. It's a bugger to set up to use in a net with batters as it will pick up speed off the face of the bat rather than the ball. If you stick it behind the net and bowl yorkers you are okay so long as the batsman misses it, otherwise you get the slower pace off the pitch and little reflection. I still prefer to use my stopwatch for bowling speeds (45 / time = speed in mph, ish) than the gun. It's better used behind a football goal for measuring shot power.
