Lloyd is bugging me now! This is 187th time he has used this line "this is a strange card"

What the heck is so strange in this scorecard?

Two good bowling performances.

Not too worried about the result, just hope Taylor is OK and that we can actually get an XI for the next matches.

Parnell to Oram, 2 runs, OUT, and South Africa have won by two runs! Its a good ball, full and straight as it should be, Oram backs away and swings it along the ground down to long-on, he and Styris run two, then as Parnell fumbles the collection Styris charges down for an utterly nonexistent third run and gets shooed back, by which time Smith collects the ball from cover and does the rest
run out 24 (18b 2x4 0x6) SR: 133.33

pretty poor, personally would of put McGlashan ahead of both Oram and Styris.

When you fail to chase 128 but finish with five wickets in hand (would have been four but for a run-out off the last ball) it smacks of poor, overly conservative tactics.

They got a wicket back when there was a run-out at the end? :p

Andy Moles has talked about making us not throw wickets away too...

Of course, he's dead on with tests, because we're excellent at digging our own hole when batting there, but in limited overs we were batting just fine.

Not going to do the classic "blame the coach" though.

Annoyed I missed the game. thought it was tonight which would have sucked coz of an exam tommorrow, but it seems I could have listened.
