Very good performance from my boys. Excellent work from Ul-Hasan taking 5 wickets and forcing the follow on. An easy win in the end.

You did pick 2 injured players though, so they'll be out for longer than they were going to be originally.

Very nice all-round contribution from Heath's boys.
Yip. Happy with the comeback in the 2nd dig after conceding a heavy first innings deficit. No individual really stood out; a great team performance. Good to finally have some points in the bag - the supporters were getting restless.

Great chase by the side and full credit to Vaughan and Ogden for putting us into that position to win.

Gun performances from Haliwell, Farhat and Entwiste. 180 was a poor batting performance in the end, but top bowling won us the match.

A good victory for Auckland over a supposedly superior team. Turned out to be a bit of a pasting for Hampshire in the end though! Good work guys!

oh dear oh dear
it seems our flaws in the ODI's are both our batting and bowling abilities, which could pose a problem for the season ahead...

Strike Update - Round Two

Western Australia 1st XI - X
Queensland 1st XI - X
South Australia 1st XI - X
ACT 2nd XI - XXX
Titans 2nd XI - XX

It should be noted that Hampshire and Titans 1st XI got their strike overturn by submitting sides three weeks in a row. WA would have got the same if it wasn't for them picking injuried players. I probably need to get in contract with Luffy or Dizzy to see what going on with ACT 2nds.

Great win, brilliant bowling from Komasaru in the second innings as well as some excellent top order batting that was able to capitalise on a good first innings performance and set up the match for us.
