Bowl first... If this backfires it will be the biggest comedy of tactical errors ever made in a tournament. Might have had something to do with Dan being out

Vettori injured, replaced by Hira, while Bracewell retained with Oram returning for Williamson 8-) Just absurd but hey, we'll have 8 bowling options
Oram clearly playing as a specialist batsman, cuz u no, he's left handed and stuf.

Should be back in his rightful number 5 spot after Franklin was so rubbish last match

With this batting line up I would go back to Athlai's plan of retiring the innings once 4 down.

Top start - first ball no ball. Of course I'd like us to win, but to be completely woeful and lose by 100 would in some ways be more fitting.

People have had selective blindness around Mills' action for many years. May not exceed 15 degrees but it's by no means pretty and never has been.

I don't get it...I know Bracewell got Johnson but Gayle is the key. Southee got him two times early in the ODI series for low scores...where's the Bracewell logic after one over at this tournament?

Element of surprise of course.

Haha, that can be the only logic. Even though Doug's got two, wanted to see Southee with a new seed - not one hit to the boundary eight times and bowling to Gayle on 20 not zero

There is no way Oram should have to bowl with so many bowlers in the side. At least not before they each got slaughtered first. Dire.

I've thought of a good tactic - go to bed. Partly because the only game I didn't watch in this tournament we won, and also because we're going to leak 200 plus here
