Looks like a really good crowd in Christchurch, but I can't say I enjoyed the bagpipes and Irish dancing.

Oh goody a John Key sighting, that will get the crowd going.....
For some reason I let myself hope the Cup would be mostly Key-free. Sigh. But I guess wherever the great Richie McCaw goes, ol' John will follow.

I am at least heartened by the fact that there was booing.

Still getting over Dave Richardson's extraordinary claim that one of the ICC's attributes is inclusion. Amazing.

That was an embarrassment. Is there anything that John Key won't open? Perhaps I'm being unfair - I doubt he'd open a conference on Environmental Protection.
