On the TMS podcast it was noted that both in this WC and the 2017 CT, run rates have come down across the board compared to the previous two years of ODIs in England by 10-20%, from ~6.3-6.4 to ~5.5-5.7

Fact: In games between India, Australia, England and Pakistan team batting first has always won so far.

Today is the last of the games between these teams, looks likely the trend will continue.

Has New Zealand won more games chasing than any other team this WC? I think they've won 3. Next best by any country is 2 successful chases.

I think the conditions have changed now and you want to bowl first. NZ got lucky with the rain which allowed them to also bowl first after they incorrectly batted first.
