As said - I don't think Nixon should have leapfrogged him but once he has, IMO it'll just make things worse to change again. What on earth is wrong with Read? Let him keep ffs.

As I said, I've only seen him once or twice. Given England felt he was good enough to make the side as a specialist batsman at one stage though, and the fact that his keeping didn't look awful in the one performance I saw, I'd give him a go.Noooooooo!!!!!! Please, even Geraint Jones would be a better bet.
Is there really a point of doing so? I mean forget about the fact that he isnt good enough, but recalling him would not only defeat the purpose of dropping him in the first place(much like the last time) but really why would anyone not want to stick with chris read? He maybe the best of a very poor lot but hes certainly at least capable of hitting the ball in the unorthodox field positions but hes also capable of hitting the ball a long way. And his keeping isnt too bad either. As I said, I've only seen him once or twice. haha, well it's easy to spot the Pom - he's the one talking a lot and NOT performing.Make that after.
Spot the Australian.
Probably not, but it won't make them worse. What purpose does the man serve? He can't bat, seems to share some aspects of Jones' game with the gloves, and is 36. At least with someone in there who is going to be a bit more of a long term prospect it might seem like england is actually attempting to do something. Unless, of course, the situation is that there are absolutely no wicketkeepers of any ability at all available the length and breadth of the country.I assure you, replacing Nixon with someone else will not raise our chances at the World Cup, at all.
Even though he constantly tried to.Defiently Nixon asfter his gritty 49 at the waca proved he can hit a ball and he doesnt need to reverse sweep al;l the time
What does the long-term matter when there's a World Cup around the corner?Probably not, but it won't make them worse. What purpose does the man serve? Nic Pothas definately is IMO, should have been the man taken to Australia. Would have given England batting even more depth. And no - there aren't a whole lot better than Nixon up and down the country.
?Nixon will be retired by the world cup.
What does he contribute to the team apart from very large vocal chords?
Not available any more UIMM.Here's one, get Simon Guy, he'd may be the best of the lot, lol...
Yeah, I keep forgetting he's qualified.Nic Pothas definately is IMO, should have been the man taken to Australia. Would have given England batting even more depth.
