Anyone remember the last time Australia won a Test with the help of reverse swing?
More importantly does anyone remember the last time Australia lost a test as a result of reverse swing and there wasn't rumblings and suggestions of ball tampering?

Watson used to induce hilarious mini-collapses as well as full blown collapses with reverse swing when he was bowling well. Most of our bowlers got reverse during the English summer too, especially Pattinson at TB.

We've never been very good at playing reverse swing, but bowling it isn't an issue for us.

This generation not much good at playing regular swing on the whole either. Or seam. Bounce. Spin. Or anything that does something

I thought it strange that nobody mentioned Pattinson till now.Genuine pace is essential to be really destructive with reverse swing and Pattinson would have been an ideal choice here.Bad luck if he was not fit,bad selection if he was not picked

Pattinson is not really any quicker than Harris.

...Durham?
Fair call. But there was plenty of suggestion going on after TB over Swann, and if my memory serves whilst there may have been no specific talk post Durham the rumblings were simmering away throughout the series.
