Yeah IMO Alexis is good enough that if you can sign him then you just do it and figure out the details later.

Stones is ****ing terrible at CB. Might do less damage in midfield.
Yeah agree with this, and England are ****ing terrible, so it can't hurt, well no more than keeping on saying "Joe Hart is still our number 1"

Yeah Hart is pretty clearly not the best English keeper, and you'd think Southgate would have noticed since he's especially bad for England. Probably just in the side because politics.

Referee doesn't bother reviewing a blatant penalty. Then less of a foul given resulting an equaliser seconds later.

Not much point having that system if they don't use it properly.

Always the way when they implement new technology though isn't it?

I'm sure you'll remember GBH being robbed of a wicket when they brought in reviews. For us of an older vintage we'll remember that shocking "not out" run out decision off Slater.

It means the nay-sayers can say the Tech doesn't work, when it's actually the imbeciles using it that doesn't work.

That one there was more dubious, the first one the French guy simply grabs and pulls his shirt on and off for a number of seconds. Some of it inside the box.

I wonder if the 'pundits' will bring it up.

That one was a penalty, but the red card is rather harsh although he's clearly not playing the ball. Tricky.

The high foot rule is garbage and inconsistent. If Sterling puts his foot up there to challenge for the ball he gets a free kick given against him. The French player doing it alone? Nothing.

Foul that prevents a scoring opportunity? How is that not a red card?
Last man preventing a scoring opportunity isn't an automatic red any more. Deliberate fouls still in that situation are. Which include holding, pulling or pushing, not playing the ball, serious foul play, violent conduct or deliberate handball in order to deny a goalscoring opportunity.

Under the "not playing the ball" I guess it's a red card.

Someone kill all the 'pundits' banging on about lack of experience with Mbappe. It's anxiety/nerves you ****ing imbeciles. Without those he'll be scoring for fun.

FFS Sterling into the box, taking his time and still against 10 men there's only two other white shirts there to pick out. Pathetic. If England are trying to play for a draw they could do a better job of defending.

With the Under 21 Tournament still to come for this season and the fixtures for next season coming out tomorrow we could have overlapping threads.

Southgate OUT.

Guess what, a more experienced player wouldn't have the same nerves, because they've been there before.

Alexis obviously represents a massive upgrade for City.

Sure, there's obviously other priority areas to focus on but that doesn't mean you pass on the opportunity to sign one of the best players in the league who plays in a position that you don't really have a lot of quality in.
You wouldn't really want to use him wide if Pep uses wide players like he has for the last couple of seasons. Which means his rivals are Aguero, Jesus and KDB. Would say they have the quality in those positions.

Linfield vs Celtic in the Europa League. Isn't that one of the fixtures that should be on the proscribed list along with Armenia-Azerbaijan and Serbia-Kosovo games?
