Why are Apple keyboards so terrible?

Utter garbage. How can you do such a bad job at something that should be relatively simple to get right.

They seem to have fixed them in the newest models by ditching the awful butterfly switches

I bought mine in 2017 (blew a lot on it) and I assume the warranty is long gone.

I hate Macbook as a whole. Bought one recently but struggling to make the shift from user friendly Windows to Apple.
