I'd be surprised if he doesn't win at least a bronze. He should win the 1k time trial easily (according to Cav tho lol) and the guys at the top would have to come 2nd, 3rd and 4th to stop him getting a medal. Hansen is pretty decent apparently so he should get gold

Reckon he deserves gold though, crashed out at the start of that race, got back on a spare bike and lapped the field solo with rips all over his cycling gear, fair effort

A good bronze after the pursuit. Maybe we need to get a specialist for this event who isn't in the pursuit team and is fresher?

Can't say I'm a fan of events where if you're the favourite the rest of the field can decide to **** you over and there's nothing you can do about it.

So yes basically this points race is a complete load of ****e and needs to be removed completely. That goes for some of the road cycling as well. The favourite should be the most likely to win, end of story. If the format dictates that the favourite or favourites are at a heavy disadvantage then it needs to be removed from the Olympics.

Brilliant, very easy too. Not bad for a 24 year old, 3 golds and a silver now. May well end up our winningmost olympian in time.

I wonder how the authorities will try and change the rules this time to try and undermine our dominance. Maybe we'll have to loan out our cyclists to other countries now to even things out.
