Davis included in 16-man party

A 16-man party has been named for the first leg of the Cricket Web 'A' tour of the
Caribbean and North America. As expected there is a good mix between youth and experience. The most notable pick is that of fast bowler Heath Davis, who a few months ago had retired from the game. His subsequent return was marked with several outstanding performances, and finds a place in a very raw pace attack.

-Openers (3)-
S Young [CW Blue]
BC Fitzsimmons [CW Colts]
NG Scott [CW Green]

-Top/Middle Bat (5)-
JR Gray [CW Red]
AJ Garven [CW Green]
RF Bowen [CW Blue]
RJ Dauth [CW Red]
SC Morris [CW Blue]

-Allrounders (3)-
M Corrin (c) [CW Green]
BC Donald [CW Black]
BC Cunningham [CW Green]

-Bowlers (5)-
MU Amir [CW Red]
M Shah [CW Blue]
MP West [CW Red]
TV Weber [CW Colts]
HT Davis [CW Black]

After the World Twenty20, Ash Chaulk and David Kearsley will join the party. A one-day squad will also been named at that time.

Haha, didn't expect I'd find myself on another 'A' tour. Looking forward to it... ;)

BTW, great to see West there. What a ****ing gun

Crikey. An overseas tour. I feel like Ashley Cowan must have felt back in 1997.

Expecting to spend most of the time down the rum shack. Blacks not well represented in this team, so I guess I'll spend the rest of my time winding up Donald. Cricket = A Bonus.

happy to have made it, face tough opposition from Scott and Young to play as a specialist opener. Hoping my wicketkeeping makes the difference.

Shame that, was hoping to be selected, but, alas.

Congrats to everyone that got selected.

Great to see West make the squad amongst a few other more senior reds players. Should be a good tour (y)
