Great ton. Played the situation perfectly. Injury hampered him and didn't strike it that clean but matched Tamin and let his hitters keep the rate in check. Finish it with no fuss now please.

Have we let this slip a bit. NRR may be important at the end of the group as 3 sides might have 4 points when Australia lose all their games obviously :whistling

Too good from Root, Morgan and Hales

England have a scary powerful batting side. BD need to be picking Miraz and being more aggressive with the ball early in the innings. Fizz bowling out at this stage is pointless, should have been bowling upfront looking for wickets. You aren't going to win games in these conditions by simply trying to bowl defensively. Need to be taking wickets.

Also really should have kicked on to 320-330.

I know he has spoken about working on it and let's be honest the 'death' bowling is garbage but great to see Root have more of a boundary hitting method towards the end. Used to lose his shape badly

Appreciate them playing for net run rate but for future statistical arguments on this forum I require a red inker here please Joe

That looked alarmingly srtraightforward. England could have chased plenty more after that Root-Hales stand.

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
Bangladesh is so much like India in the 90s. Under perform due to lack of faith/over exuberance so many times.
