Fair play Shami. Wasn't as inch-perfect as Bumrah but getting a hattrick in a genuine pressure situation is class.

Eyes not spreadsheets
Seen this too many times. Chasing deep almost never pulls off. A good chase is taking risks in the beginning and getting the run rate well above the required. Regardless even if you are a weaker cricket team than your opponents.
There’s no one size fits all way to approach a chase. You make it sound as if hitting Bumrah and Shami around is easy.

Its better to hit both of them in the beginning than hitting them under pressure at the end while requiring 9 from their overs.

Srilanka won a WC and plethora of other stuff by going blitzkrieg at the start in chases. And you would think it was not hard for them to hit Akram, Donald, Mcgrath, Ambrose and co.
