Not a contentious choice at all. Walcott was a mighty great cricketer. An early Glichrist.Very odd to leave Worrell out for Walcott.
I was thinking this as well, and then realized that this is not a top XI Windies team. Not a contentious choice at all. Walcott was a mighty great cricketer. An early Glichrist.
They are not(except for the arguable case of Kohli). Since others had been picked for tests, I had to pick someone.@h_hurricane
Zaheer, Sehwag, Ganguly, Yuvraj, Kohli(tests) are not ATG players

Absolutely.Walcott didn't keep in a lot of games and has a major disparity between his home and away averages. Plus, Worrell just had a bigger impact on WI cricket didn't he? Absolute legend. I rare him because of his captaincy, like Imran and Border.

But how relevant is captaincy to these kind of lists? Surely it is more about how good a batsman or bowler they were.Walcott didn't keep in a lot of games and has a major disparity between his home and away averages. Agreed. I feel captaincy is too much of an intangible thing to allow someone to crack these listsBut how relevant is captaincy to these kind of lists? Surely it is more about how good a batsman or bowler they were.
Andy Roberts could walk into either of the teams; perhaps replacing Clive Lloyd in the ODI list - perhaps not.West Indies
