Watson wins fitness battle

Good news - hope he can keep himself on the park for more than 15 minutes this time. Tough luck for Hodge, but much better looking team with Watto in it.

Shudders what could happen if it were Dan Smith and Shane Watson in the same room alone...

Shudders even more thinking about what would happen if Prince EWS were to walk in on them.

Giving the side a much better bowling option without significantly weakening the batting line-up - it's a no brainer.

Too right. Must be the most heavily criticised player in Australia atm, and has been for probably 3 years. If you can average nigh on 50 @ Pura Cup and bowl at 140 kph you have ability. He isn't the best all rounder in world cricket, but gives the team a valuable extra bowling option in the middle overs, especially on slower decks where sies like NZ, SA & SL may well tee off on a combination of 10 overs from Symonds, Clarke, Hodge etc.

...but loses the war against dignity.

Not appropriate.

That 2nd one's not appropriate and you should know it.

I'd remove it before a mod has to.

imo lately Watson is a better batsmen than flintoff. He just needs to get some wickets and we'll be set.
