First/Group Round - Group B - Scotland, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Hong Kong

Vitori isn't in the squad at all because he's been suspended for chucking.

People who only see him play international cricket are victims of a selection bias too, even ignoring the chucking. On a normal day he sends down 118km/hr rubbish and can't bowl any sort of consistent line to right handers. Every so often things click for him for a couple of weeks and the selectors rightly get him in the side which is when you guys see him, but 'bad Vitori' is a horrible, horrible sight. Sometimes he descends into levels below Zimbabwean franchise cricket.
Yeah I have heard from you that he is inconsistent and I believe that. Didn't know he isn't in the squad. Some one mentioned to me a week back that he was.

Anyone think Hong Kong have a chance today? If Chapman gets a score and they get 140+ Can their bowlers defend it?
I think Afghanistan will win and possibly restrict HK to below 130. Their bowling is much better than HK's batting, looks like.

Afghanistan should look to win with at least 9 balls to spare here, (or fewer but finish with 118+). Means a tie or a washout takes them through against Zimbabwe.

I suspect they'll win with plenty of spare anyway.

So did Nabi bowl really well or does HK have a mental block against him? Second 4-fer in two games against them.

Afghanistan v Zimbabwe - Afghanistan has a fair chance. Given their bowlers, they could be tricky against the test teams and can cause an upset in the next round if they do qualify.

How is the weather going to be there? I am afraid the rain may ruin what seems to be a great contest between afghans and zim!!

If they had a proper field set Shahzad would've been out already. Short and wide can work as a plan but you need fielders to catch the ball ffs. Then following that up with bowling a bouncer with fine leg up. So dumb.

Their bowling is quite toothless.
They are awful, truly awful, I have a somewhat irrational hatred of them as I have had so many stupid bets on them over the years and they always **** up.:@

Suppose its due to them been crap:ph34r:
