Used to hate cats. Then I got one. I like them now. They're much more affectionate than I realised. I'd never own one in a suburban area though. It's not possible to keep them off roads like you can with a dog. Poor little bugger got a bit too curious and ended up getting hit/dying.

There's a half constructed house behind my place and a huge black cat seems to get into the place through some space. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a huge litter of kittens in there.
