That's great.

Can someone take this mad cow of an organisation out back and just shoot it already?

This is beyond ridiculous. I can understand them being a little annoyed at his comments, but this knee jerk over reaction response is just stupid.

@topic West indies suck. Most incompetently run cricket nation, and considering how awful everyone else is, that's saying something.

Given what happened with the FIFA stuff in the region it could easily just be corruption. Either way it's sad.

This is why WI can't progress - poor management stuck in some bizarre mentality. Clive Lloyd didn't have much overhead when he was beating the world yet whenever he's in charge of WI he's like a dark cloud following the players. For the past 7 years anyone who watches WI will notice one or two key players missing from the line up. When facing top teams WI need to not only have their best team but they should be enjoying the game. Enjoying the game is what I notice Australians put alot of emphasis on because you just can't perform well when worried about anything. WI players have been worried about getting paid, missing their best players, threats from the board/coach etc/ There is always something. It's sad. Many times months after even world cup games players state 5 minutes before such and such games they weren't sure if they were even going to even go out on the field. This board barred the entire main team for like a year at one point out of being spiteful to the players. The board is ran by people who don't care about fans and winning. Can you imagine the NBA teams just dropping players because of money issues or players arguing during net sessions. They can't win because they spend so much time off the field fighting like dogs. It's so sad. Take for example Sarwan who had averages in the 40s in both test and ODIs. According the Chris Gayle Otis messed up Sarwan's head and fked him up lolol Sarwan never returned and it's like he's going crazy now. Here is sarwan explaining how the coach hurt him mentally West Indies in England 2012: They hurt me mentally - Ramnaresh Sarwan | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo - this is just unheard of..

Look at his ODI stats Batting records | One-Day Internationals | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPN Cricinfo - Would anyone drop a player who made a century 4 games ago ? Considering he was just coming back after Otis messed up his head...

Now look at his test record ..which is where you see the real crime .. Batting records | Test matches | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPN Cricinfo - He scored 4 centuries which included a double and a 94 vs England in the WI and Eng.. He went to AUS for two test and didn't make any big runs but he got starts ..even made 42 in one innings - dropped - otis played with his head in 2010 lol Any other team in the world and he would be on top after 2009 - cricketer of year award etc ..But in WI ? totally different treatment..Chanderpaul is gone and a player like Sarwan could be playing his role and being Mr stable..instead he's 35 and 98 days old today and basically done. Think about how happy he must have been ? making 290 against Eng and scoring runs in Eng to being totally ignored..None of it makes sense.. We can't have a good team because we keep dropping the players for political reasons and never allowing a nucleus for an actually team to form. Must be so demoralizing in that dressing room watching your teammates getting dropped daily for BS even while doing really really good.

yeah I remember being pleased Sarwan had finally made it during that 291 and now what? I can't believe how little he's played since then

However, Simmons and Lloyd were outvoted 3-2 in the selection meeting (for the selection of Bravo and Pollard). Besides Lloyd, the other selectors on the panel are: Courtney Walsh, Courtney Browne and Eldine Baptiste.
What the **** happened to Courtney Wash??

Not selecting Pollard for a ODI series is not the worst selection decision TBH. After 91 ODIs the guy has a batting average of 25 and bowling average of 38 with economy 5.57. He's an important batsman in a T20 team, but he's a dud in ODI - not good enough to bat in top 6 and not good enough to bowl close to 10 overs

But you have to also look at the guys who were available to replace him surely
