  • Man that sucks. Would have been great to have caught up in Hyderabad! Well I guess since you can't make it now it is a moot point. ^_^

Mate how would I go about buying tickets for the Hyderabad test? Want to secure them ASAP.
On a more serious note, I've lost $170 recently :(

Going to wait until the next payday before I deposit again.
No Problems. :) Their profile on Arnab Goswami and before that Arvind Kejriwal were the best, and has made me read up on their work which is off beat and pretty good.

As for the newspapers Hindu, even though leftist is far better for me. Takes on stories which other newspapers ignore due to corporate agenda.

Indian Express was the best at some time and is still better than most others, yeah but under Shekhar Gupta they have started succumbing to agenda on many occasions. Their coverage of IAC movement, and General VK singh controversy being case in point. That troop movement and alleged coup story. WTF ?
Supreme Being | The Caravan - A Journal of Politics and Culture

On a sidenote, a big and pretty good profile by Caravan on Sameer Jain. Vice Chairman of Bennet & Coleman in the Caravan if you are interested.
Ah fair enough. Sameer Jain it's proprietor openly says that they are in the business of advertising, not news. And that their consumers are advertisers.

But still find it better than the number 2 Hindustan Times, which i find too politically affiliated to the Congress. Hell, they even nominated Shobana Bharatiya to the Rajya Sabha, so not a secret.

Anyways, it was Times Now which was sued not ToI. Same group, but was just correcting the tabloid point. They are again far too liberal under Arnab with news ethics but better than politically affiliated Cnn-IBN and NDTV.
Yeah I did. Only had $20 in my account at the time unfortunately. Should've deposited a bit more.
Yeah, that seems decent. In the case of a draw or England win will you have any profits or simply break even?
I won't be betting on SL without seeing the pitch but it does seem like decent odds.

As for the hedge bet, I probably would've done it if it wasn't 1.44, it's not worth the risk because I think a chance of a draw is just as likely, if not more, as an England win tbh. If England bat well in their first innings, it's going to be somewhere around stumps Day 3. we're going to have to set them a target. Knowing Dhoni's conservativeness I think he'll take his time in declaring, moreso since we're 1-0 in the series.

As for WI v Ban, go for run rates. It's chanders and Ramdin batting at the start of the days play. If Abul Hasan isn't given the ball I highly doubt they'll be flailing boundaries.
Saw you mention a few times about gambling in the tour thread. What sites are you using ?
Hey... sorry I didn't see your message sooner, i usually login on my mobile, and for some reason, notifications dont show up ;)
Its on star cricket, but i guess you know that by now :p
Haha I don't think there will be too many people who actually manage to watch both Tests in their entirety when they're on at the same time. I'd do it but I actually have a life that weekend; I imagine 99% of people or more have more of a life than me so that rules out most people out really.
