I genuinely wish sometimes that the crowd and ground noises were on a different audio channel from the commentators so I could just watch the cricket without the most annoying commentators.

Australia have basically sent the bottom of the barrel as far as Australian commentators is concerned.

I wonder whether the new contracts meant they couldn't send good Australian commentators across. As Clarke is a free agent and Slater at this point may as well be.

Why did Pakistan elect to field first? Weaker teams should bat first. Several teams have lost after electing to field first in the tournament already.

Ehhh, for me I would've preferred to chase than set.

It's also a case of wanting to take advantage of the clouds.

I hope failed Somerset captain Justin Langer returning to Taunton doesn't ruin our season

The pitch looks to offer extra bounce in some areas. It's not a lifeless pitch. But Pakistan have bowled like poo.

Bowling has lately been innocuous so far, except that firs few overs from Amir. Wahab has been decent too.

anyway, australia is playing zero spinners at a world cup they picked two spinners for
With Stoinis injured they're rightly worried about not having enough pace options. Every single part timer in the side is a spinner.
