didn’t have sound on, there was a bit in the 48th over where they showed some analysis and it was just asghar afghan more or less captaining the team, were they implying he’s pretty much running the show still? if so, who’s to blame for gulbadin bowling? when will the conspiracy theories come out about asghar not going for the catch off imad? the last five overs really stink here

I don't even ****ing support Afghanistan but I'm ****ing furious they lost that. What a disgrace

Gulbadin's decision to bowl himself might be one of the worst captaincy decisions in recent memory. The umpires did their best to screw over them over too.

Unreal.

Don't forget we still aren't sure why they sent Shahzad and Aftab Alarm home, and Najibullah bats 7 while Ikram bats 4

6.02pm: The emotions of this match have spilled over. Monga reports from the ground that there is rioting in the stands: "They are still rioting. Bottles are flying across. 650ml juice and soft drinks bottles. They are full, and they are being hurled at each other." Good god!

FFS see these are the kind of crowds we can complain about. Disgraceful.

Was legit pulling my hair out at that Sarfraz runout. Brain-dead moron.

Pakistan Vs Afghanistan shouldn't be close at all ffs. Especially not after they've been restricted to 227. Nabi bowled 10 overs of pure awesome. Imam, Hafeez and Zaman need to get their **** together. Only terrible captaincy made this win possible for Pakistan. If Afghanistan hadn't decided to lose they wouldn't have.

What the ****

That's disgraceful. Just call each other names on Facebook like the rest of us.

Sarfraz would have been in everyone's eyes the sillier captain today around the time he went for that non existent second run. In the end, Gulbadin outdid him hands down much like Bolt triumphing over his opponents.

And Monga pings from the ground: "Scenes! pitch invasion. Nabi accidentally tackled by a security officer. More people entering the ground. More than 10 now".

Imad got very lucky. Plumb LBW not given, and a catch dropped (probably a runout or two missed as well, but who's keeping count at this stage lol). Still, him and Wahab are decent guys to have down the order in a tight situation like this.

yeah something’s off. i’ve also banged on about najibullah all tournament (as you’d be aware), and those two heading home was bizarre. i’m not sure gulbadin is entirely to blame here, like i’m real suss about all this

maybe samiullah refused to bowl again in protest of asghar afghan’s sacking hahaha
