Especially when anyone suggesting Head turned a single ball (possibly in his life) is being rather generous. I will never understand Steve Smith's problem with Zampa.

He has really weird and regimented views on how spinners should be used, it seems.

And he's obsessed with Head's bowling as well. Even if he didn't want to bowl Zampa for whatever reason he has, surely Maxwell would be as good an option, or better, than Head.

You pick a specialist spinner and still haven't bowled him after 34 overs. Might as well have just played an extra batsman.
