Greg Chappell should consider coming out on the field and giving his players a good dressing down with a megaphone after another meek exit from team India.

India to win by 40 runs btw.
Thats 1-1 :p

Wonderfully controlled innings by Ponting, Watson and Martyn under pressure. Great effort. Beating India at home is as good as it gets. We're into the finals!

Once again, Australia stands up when the situation calls for it, and once again India fails when the situation calls for them to deliver.

Ponting and Watson scoring runs at the top of the order, McGrath giving an improved showing with the ball and Martyn continuing his mini renaissance when he must have been very very close to being dropped heading to India, the signs are good. Bring on the Kiwis.

Watson's finest innings in international cricket by a distance today. The bowling was absolutely horrible of course, but he looked like a million bucks despite obviously being less than fully fit. Martyn and Ponting were also excellent of course, but once it was 1/100+ inside the first 15 overs it was always Australia's game to lose.

Semi-finals are nice matchups too. Really enjoying this tournament, I must say.

The indian pace attack got hammered.. spinners did well, perhaps tendulkar should have been given the ball.. he is a very intelligent bowler, and the spinners were doing good.

out of the pacers, i think Sreesanth was the best. He didnt have the luxury of the new ball, and despite a poor first spell, where he looked like had no rhythm (though he hasnt played in a while and wasnt expecting to play), he found it towards the end.

Pathan was ok in his second spell..bowled a few nice delieveries but for no reward

Could have gone either way, in my opinion. Certainly was some doubt in it, as there was in the one he was eventually given out on. Either way he played very well. He's made bigger scores but always looked much more shaky in doing so.
