If you want to read a scary article from mid- last year.

But no laws have been passed.... pure ignorance and politicking.....but I do think it's a little bit weird that no one is having a conversation about punishing South Africa through sport as we did quite correctly for apartheid, when they have passed laws in their parliament to forcibly remove the land of whites.
Simply false...."I think this is a good one from Peter Dutton. I mean bring them in. Just the gravity of what's going on in South Africa, with 400 white farmers murdered every year. The murder rate in South Africa among these people is 138 out of one hundred thousand; when you consider that in Australia, it is three out of one hundred thousand," Gleeson claimed.
You are right.... very Marxist-Leninist. It is a very extreme party in SA, which already has very leftist leanings."more of a socialist party" seems a bit of a light description for them, they seem more transparently Marxist-Leninist than that
Mate, if they were black or brown they'd be labeled "economic refugees" who could afford to pay someone to get them here, so why should we take them? That's where the hypocrisy lies in the discussion. The thing with Identity Politics is that you’re damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. There’s no winning, least of all for European farmers in South Africa because who is going to bother to stand-up for them? China, India, Egypt or another African State perhaps? Fact is, if Australia doesn’t stand-up then it is likely that no-one will.
We take 10,000 per year and there were roughly 700 on Manus so ......is that why all the refugees are in prison camps on offshore islands?
European people helping other European people because no-one else will. Goodness gracious whatever next?Mate, if they were black or brown they'd be labeled "economic refugees" who could afford to pay someone to get them here, so why should we take them? In total, between 1998 and the end of 2016, 1848 people have been murdered in farm attacks — 1187 farmers, 490 family members, 147 farm employees, and 24 people who happened to be visiting the farm at the time.
While South Africa has one of the highest rates of violent crime anywhere in the world, the attacks on white farmers are no ordinary crimes.
In a 2014 report, “The Reality of Farm Tortures in South Africa”, AfriForum wrote that “the horror experienced during farm tortures is almost incomprehensible”.
“The well-known ‘blood sisters’ from the South African company Crimescene-cleanup have rightly indicated that, in their experience, farm tortures are by far the most horrific acts of violence in South Africa,” the report said.
“They are of the opinion that the term ‘farm murders’ is misleading and that the terms ‘farm terror’ and ‘farm tortures’ are more suitable.”....

Extraordinary even by your standards.European people helping other European people because no-one else will. Goodness gracious whatever next?
Quite obviously we’ve plummetted to a new ethical low.
The obvious msm answer is that Dutton is a racist who is appealing to his red-neck base.Of course we can take them. I think if you followed anything I've posted about refugee intake on here you'd find my general attitude to the approach of both the main political parties is "a pox on both their houses." The point is whether their situation is any more urgent or pressing than people fleeing wars and ethnic cleansing elsewhere. Dutton is proposing giving them priority over other people in similar or worse situations. Why do you think that is?
It should be, but it seemingly isn't, as the tortured, bashed and murdered of one race seem to be getting preferential treatment by Dutton when compared with the tortured, bashed and murdered of another race.I would simply argue that the race of the tortured, bashed and murdered farmers is totally irrelevant
Apparently this all arose because of three columns in News Ltd papers and some youtube videos. The height of detailed analysis there.Yeah but it’s dutton and his acolytes who treat the claims of other refugees with disdain. I wouldn’t have a problem with dutton wanting to get these people here ASAP if he did the same thing with the so called economic refugees from elsewhere.
I mean, if a bloke and his family from Syria could afford to hop on a plane to get any place else in the world but made an application to come here, the cries from dutton and his supporters about them not being “real refugees” would be as loud as you can imagine. We’ve all heard them before. If you deny it you’re just making **** up.
