Great ball by Ashwin to get Bravo. Reminiscent of Jim Laker's ball to Neil Harvey at Old Trafford in 1956 (the ball at 23 seconds):

An absolute shambles that a truly worthless and pointless test side like West Indies are getting such high profile series, Christmas tests with Australia and a 4 test series with the biggest draw in the game, should be restricted to series with Bangladesh and Zimbabwe until they prove they are worthy of anything more sexy.

Aye vote for the 2-tier system.

This is exactly the wrong attitude to have though. There are lots of good reasons to have a two tier system, but wanting it because you don't want West Indies to plays tests vs India is a ****ing dire reason.

The proposal that teams in each division are mandated to play a number of tests against each other is the real positive aspect of the two tier system. Doing it because you don't want teams from the lower tier to play the bigger teams at all is piss poor.

Maybe and if honest in a foul mood this morning, but the West Indies are not worthy of playing someone as important as India in 4 tests. They just aren't.

Didn't they go 1-1 against England last year around this time?
That mediocre side?

I think a India-Bangladesh 3 match series in Bangladesh right now, while still being 3-0 would be a bit more competitive. I think Bangladesh are a better batting side in their home conditions.
