Why the **** does it have to be the state? Why can't it be a local organisation designed around helping the local population who are struggling?Every now and again people need the guiding hand of the State to help them along. If they're ungrateful for it or show insufficient gratitude, then it's incumbent on the State to take further action.
Why does it have to be a local council?Like a local council?
It’s because the state is the people and the people are the state. Everyone knows that.

Spoken like a true oppressor of the working people. Why does it have to be a local council?
Your second point is nonsense. The State is purely an organisation to protect the rights and liberties of the people living within the jurisdiction of the state. It has no right to 'guide and help people along'.
You're the one that's wanting to oppress people because of your willingness to use the force of the state to acheive the goals of the state. Kinda sounds like a Fascist.Spoken like a true oppressor of the working people.
He's ****ing around. Don't take the bait. You're the one that's wanting to oppress people because of your willingness to use the force of the state to acheive the goals of the state. Kinda sounds like a Fascist.

You'd want to be quick on the draw if your phone died for whatever reason.Does this mean all members of the CCP are given easier access to acquiring smartphones?
Prosperity is a cure for many ills though. Not for all, and esp not for an all powerful state which prioritizes stability of ideology too highly. But I am not going to pretend that the trade-off is an easy one.Honestly it works on all sorts of people. I know that mainstream Western coverage of China isn't exactly great at times, but you try to read alternative takes from people who have spent more time in the country and you'll be taken aback by sudden "it doesn't really matter what form a government takes so long as it gets results" and "the Uyghur people would be so much better off if they stopped misbehaving"
