What do you order from McDonald's?

What sort of absolute abomination is "maccies" meant to be?

Fairly simple abbreviation

I'm not actually all that fond of it, but it's seeped into the subconscious

Chicken Selects - I basically use it as a KFC with better chips. McFlurry/Apple Pie depending on the time of year.

20 box of McNuggets if the beer or hangover is kicking in. Nuggets and strawberry milkshake cures everything.

Used to live next door to a 24 hour Maccies, we'd come back from a night out (or, stumble out of the casino next door to that at 5am), and because only the drive through was open we'd walk through that pretending to be cars, imitating the horn when the person in front was taking too long. How we didn't get smashed in I'll never know....

Haha I went to the drive thru McD's in St Albans with a friend once, during which she described Selects as "just so pretentious". I was absolutely creasing with laughter for a good 5 mins.

i don't do maccas anymore but i'm in awe of what the donald gets when he goes it exudes an incredible energy

Yeah HJ's is terrible these days whereas it was fairly solid when I was younger. McDonald's is definitely a nicer restaurant than what it was too, though I still find their beef burgers pretty awful.

It's a fair call. Think they jumped above nuggets in the pecking order as they feel like there's just more of them (unless you go double or quits on a box of 20 nugs). I think the sauce choice (sweet chilli every time) makes them better, but even more pretentious.

Don't live near a Wendy's any more, so it's been ages since I've been. Sad to hear it's declined - was always my favourite of the fast food joints.
